Chapter 482 - Motor Vehicles and Trailers: Licensing, Registration, Sales and Leases
NRS 482.268 - License plates: Additional fee for issuance; deposit of fee.

In addition to any other applicable fee, there must be paid to the Department a fee of 50 cents for each license plate issued for a motor vehicle, trailer or semitrailer. The fee paid pursuant to this section must be deposited with the State Treasurer for credit to the Fund for Prison Industries to defray the cost of producing the license plate.
