Chapter 424 - Foster Homes for Children
NRS 424.095 - License; application; renewal.

1. An application for a license to operate a foster care agency must be in a form prescribed by the Division and submitted to the appropriate licensing authority. Such a license is effective for 2 years after the date of its issuance and may be renewed upon expiration.

2. An applicant must provide reasonable and satisfactory assurance to the licensing authority that the applicant will conform to the standards established and the regulations adopted by the Division pursuant to NRS 424.093.

3. Upon application for renewal, the licensing authority may renew a license if the licensing authority determines that the licensee conforms to the standards established and the regulations adopted by the Division pursuant to NRS 424.093.

4. A licensing authority may issue a nonrenewable provisional license in accordance with the regulations adopted by the Division pursuant to NRS 424.093.
