NRS 218E.095 - Unlawful for person to fail to obey subpoena, refuse to be sworn, affirm or testify or refuse to produce documents.


NV Rev Stat § 218E.095 (2011) What's This?

1. If a person is subpoenaed to attend as a witness before a House or committee, the person shall not:

(a) Refuse or neglect, without lawful excuse, to attend pursuant to the subpoena; or

(b) Willfully refuse to be sworn or to affirm, to answer any material or proper question, or to produce, upon reasonable notice, any material or proper books, papers or documents in the possession or under the control of the person.

2. A person who violates any provision of this section is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
