Foreign limited liability company; application for certificate of authority; amendments.(1) The application for a certificate of authority of a foreign limited liability company shall be amended by filing articles of amendment with the Secretary of State signed by a person with authority to do so under the laws of this state or other jurisdiction of its organization. The articles of amendment shall set forth:
(a) The name of the foreign limited liability company;
(b) The date the original application for a certificate of authority was filed; and
(c) The amendment to the application for a certificate of authority.
(2) The application for a certificate of authority may be amended in any way, except that the application for a certificate of authority as amended may contain only provisions that may be lawfully contained in an application for registration at the time of making the amendment.
