Section 81-3006
Transfer of programs and functions.

Effective January 1, 1997, all programs and functions of the Department on Aging, the Department of Health, the Department of Public Institutions, the Department of Social Services, and the Office of Juvenile Services of the Department of Correctional Services shall be transferred to three departments to be known as the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Health and Human Services Regulation and Licensure, and the Department of Health and Human Services Finance and Support. Such new departments shall be known and may be referred to collectively as the Nebraska Health and Human Services System. Any reference to departments in the Nebraska Health and Human Services System Act shall be to such departments.
