Section 79-769
Focus school or program; authorized; requirements.

Any member school district of a learning community may establish a focus school or program anywhere in the learning community with approval from the learning community coordinating council. A focus school or program shall be:

(1) Centered around meeting specific learning goals that are an addition to the standard curriculum;

(2) Open to all students residing in the learning community in the grades offered on an equal basis; and

(3) Designed to create an economically and culturally diverse learning environment.
