Section 77-704Employees; powers; contracts.
(1) The Property Tax Administrator may employ such staff as he or she deems necessary to perform the duties of the Department of Property Assessment and Taxation and shall be able to contract for the services of expert consultants to the department.
(2) As specified by the Property Tax Administrator, certain personnel may be vested with the authority to file and serve any lien, seize property, serve and return a summons, warrant, or subpoena issued by the Property Tax Administrator or the department, and collect taxes.
