Section 71-1725
Certificate; denial, revocation, or suspension; procedure; appeal.

A certificate to practice as a nurse practitioner may be denied, refused renewal, revoked, suspended, or disciplined in any other manner for any violation of the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Licensure Act or the Nurse Practitioner Act, for physical or mental disability or incapacity, for gross incompetence, or for any reason for which a license to practice as a registered nurse or an advanced practice registered nurse could be denied, revoked, or suspended. The methods and procedures for notice of hearing, opportunity for hearing, presentation of evidence, conduct of hearing, reinstatement of certificate, and related matters in such instance shall be the same as those pertaining to the denial, revocation, or suspension of a license to practice as a registered nurse. Any decision to deny, refuse renewal of, revoke, or suspend a certificate to practice as a nurse practitioner may be appealed. The appeal shall be in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act.
