Section 71-1724.02
Nurse practitioner; continuing competency requirements.

Continuing competency requirements established by the board pursuant to section 71-17,135 shall apply to:

(1) A nurse practitioner seeking to renew his or her certificate;

(2) A nurse practitioner seeking to reinstate his or her certificate from lapsed status;

(3) An applicant for certification as a nurse practitioner who has been authorized by another state to practice in an advanced role; and

(4) An applicant for certification as a nurse practitioner who has not practiced in that role during the five years immediately preceding application.
