Section 71-1354
Continuing competency requirements; documentation.

The board shall establish continuing competency requirements for persons licensed under sections 71-1301 to 71-1354 for adoption and promulgation by the department in rules and regulations. Continuing education is sufficient to meet continuing competency requirements. The requirements may also include, but not be limited to, one or more of the continuing competency activities listed in section 71-161.09 which a licensee may select as an alternative to continuing education. Each licensee shall submit, with his or her application for license renewal or reinstatement, documentation that he or she has completed continuing competency activities as required by the board. The department shall not renew or reinstate a license to any person who has failed to complete such requirements.
