Section 71-3,115
License; inactive status authorized; restoration to active status.

A licensee who fails to complete continuing competency activities as required by the board pursuant to section 71-377 may request that his or her license be placed on inactive status upon its expiration. Such a request shall be granted upon payment of the inactive status fee. No person shall practice in any manner under an inactive license. An inactive license may be restored to active status at such time as the licensee so petitions the department and presents evidence that he or she has completed continuing competency activities as required by the board.
