Section 71-375
Board; quorum; meetings; officers; compensation; expenses.

(1) Until October 1, 2005, any six members of the board shall constitute a quorum for routine business, except that for matters requiring professional judgment of competency or standards of professional conduct, a quorum shall consist of any five professional members.

(2) On and after October 1, 2005, any seven members of the board shall constitute a quorum for routine business, except that for matters requiring professional judgment of competency or standards of professional conduct, a quorum shall consist of any six professional members.

(3) The board shall meet at least twice a year and more often at the call of the chairperson or (a) until October 1, 2005, any five members or (b) on and after October 1, 2005, any six members.

(4) The board shall select officers from among its members, including a chairperson, vice-chairperson, and secretary.

(5) Members of the board shall be paid for their expenses as provided in sections 81-1174 to 81-1177 and shall in addition receive a per diem of fifty dollars.
