Section 48-1303Terms, defined.
As used in sections 48-1301 to 48-1309, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1) Displaced homemaker shall mean a person who (a) worked in the home for a substantial number of years providing unpaid household services for family members, (b) is not gainfully employed, (c) has difficulty in securing employment, and (d) was dependent on the income of another family member but is no longer supported by such income, or was dependent on federal assistance but is no longer eligible for such assistance; and
(2) Commissioner shall mean the Commissioner of Education.
