Section 45-708
Prohibited acts; penalty.

Any person required to be licensed or registered under the Mortgage Bankers Registration and Licensing Act who, without first obtaining a license or registration under the act or while such license is suspended, revoked, canceled, or expired by the director, engages in the business of or occupation of, advertises or holds himself or herself out as, claims to be, or temporarily acts as a mortgage banker in this state is guilty of a Class II misdemeanor.
