70-6-208. Notice to owner of adverse claim

70-6-208. Notice to owner of adverse claim. A depositary shall give prompt notice to the person for whose benefit the deposit was made of any proceedings taken adversely to the person's interest in the thing deposited that may tend to excuse the depositary from delivering the thing to the person.
