35-1-541. Definitions

35-1-541. (Temporary) Definitions. As used in 35-1-541 through 35-1-548, the following definitions apply:
(1) "Derivative proceeding" means a civil suit in the right of a domestic corporation or, to the extent provided in 35-1-548, in the right of a foreign corporation.
(2) "Shareholder" includes a beneficial owner whose shares are held in a voting trust or held by a nominee on the beneficial owner's behalf. (Repealed effective June 1, 2020--secs. 269, 274, Ch. 271, L. 2019.)
