2005 Montana Code Annotated - 35-3-206 — Amendment of articles of incorporation.


     35-3-206. Amendment of articles of incorporation. (1) Whenever any bishop, chief priest, or presiding elder shall have filed in the office of the secretary of state articles of incorporation, under the provisions of an act entitled "An Act Authorizing and Regulating the Incorporation of Sole Corporations and Defining Their Powers", approved February 27, 1899, or amendments thereto or under this chapter, such corporation sole may amend its articles of incorporation from time to time in any and as many respects as may be desired, so long as its articles of incorporation as amended contain only such provisions as are lawful under this chapter.
     (2) Such articles of amendment shall be promulgated by the incorporator or his successor by setting forth a statement of the facts authorizing such amendment and the date upon which said amendment was promulgated, and his affidavit that the same is a true copy or translation thereof shall be deemed a sufficient attestation thereof.
