     2-15-2005. State fire prevention and investigation program -- advisory council. (1) There is a state fire prevention and investigation program in the department of justice and under the supervision and control of the attorney general.
     (2) A person appointed to administer the fire prevention and investigation program shall represent the state of Montana as the state fire marshal and must be a person qualified by experience, training, and high professional competence in matters of fire service and safety.
     (3) The attorney general shall create a fire prevention and investigation advisory council in accordance with procedures provided in 2-15-122.
