     19-3-319. State contributions for local government and school district employers. The state shall contribute monthly from the general fund to the pension trust fund a sum equal to 0.1% of the compensation paid to all employees of local government entities and school districts on and after July 1, 1997, except those properly excluded from membership. The board shall certify amounts due under this section on a monthly basis, and the state treasurer shall transfer those amounts to the pension trust fund within 1 week. The payment is statutorily appropriated as provided in 17-7-502.
