Protection of citizens against infringement against right to keep and bear arms. — It shall be the duty of the courts and law enforcement agencies of this state to protect the rights of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms within the borders of this state and to protect these rights from the infringements defined under section 1.420.

(2023) The Second Amendment Preservation Act is unconstitutional in its entirety as a violation of the Supremacy Clause, Article VI of the United States Constitution. United States v. Missouri, 660 F.Supp.3d 791 (W.D. Mo.).
