9.306. Walthall Moore Day designated for May 1. — May first of each year is hereby designated as "Walthall Moore Day" in Missouri. Citizens of this state are encouraged to engage in appropriate events and activities to honor the life and work of the first African American to serve in the Missouri general assembly.
