Title XXIX OWNERSHIP AND CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY
Chapter 446446.250. New Madrid certificates and patents prima facie evidence. — When, in any action for the recovery of the possession of premises, any land shall be claimed by virtue of a location in lieu of other lands injured by earthquakes, the certificate of new location granted by the recorder of land titles, and the patent issued in consequence, shall be only prima facie evidence of title in the grantee therein named, subject to be rebutted as herein prescribed.
