Title XXXVII CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
Chapter 542542.120. Recognizance forfeited on failure to prosecute appeal. — When any person shall have taken an appeal, under the provisions of sections 542.020 to 542.140, and fails to appear, the court shall forfeit his recognizance, and order it to be prosecuted, unless reasonable excuse for the default be shown.
