Title XXXV CIVIL PROCEDURE AND LIMITATIONS
Chapter 513513.215. Death of defendant after levy, proceedings. — If any defendant shall die after his real estate shall have been seized on execution, the service thereof shall not be completed, but the sheriff shall return the execution, together with the fact of the defendant's death, which shall be a sufficient indemnity to him for his failure to proceed.
