Title XV LANDS, LEVEES, DRAINAGE, SEWERS AND PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY
Chapter 243243.540. Penalty for violation of provisions of chapter. — Any person, corporation, member of the county commission or municipal corporation, convicted of a misdemeanor as defined by this chapter shall pay a fine of not less than five dollars nor more than one thousand dollars, and if such violation of said chapter as the conviction is for shall not be abated by the party so convicted within thirty days after such conviction, then the continuance of such obstruction or other violation of the provisions of this chapter after said period of thirty days shall for each and every day the same is continued constitute a separate offense, for which, on conviction thereof, the party so offending shall be punished by a fine of twenty-five dollars.
