Section 280.050 Standards for wood preservatives--rules and regulations, procedure.

280.050. The director may promulgate rules to establish specifications for wood preservation and treating practices; to prescribe the minimum net retention of preservative per cubic foot or metric equivalent of wood in treating timber products; to establish branding requirements for treated timber; and to set requirements for preservative and product use information to be supplied to purchasers. No rule or portion of a rule promulgated under the authority of this chapter shall become effective unless it has been promulgated pursuant to the provisions of section 536.024.
