411.523. Where a warehouseman delivers the grain to one who is not in fact lawfully entitled to the possession of it, the warehouseman shall be liable as for conversion to all having a right of property or possession in the grain if he delivered the grain otherwise than as authorized by subdivisions (2) and (3) of section 411.511, and though he delivered grain as authorized by that section he shall be liable if prior to the delivery he had either been requested by or on behalf of the person lawfully entitled to a right of property of possession in the grain not to make the delivery, or had information that the delivery about to be made was to one not lawfully entitled to possession of the grain.
