Chapter 400 Uniform Commercial Code
Section 400.11 Interpretation of chapter.
General rule, transactions before and after code changes.
400.11-103. Transactions validly entered into after July 1, 1965, and before January 1, 1989, and which were subject to the provisions of chapter 400, as it reads prior to January 1, 1989, and which would be subject to this section if they had been entered into after January 1, 1989, and the rights, duties and interests flowing from such transactions remain valid after the latter date and may be terminated, completed, consummated or enforced as required or permitted by chapter 400, as it reads after January 1, 1989. Security interests arising out of such transactions which are perfected on January 1, 1989, shall remain perfected until they lapse as provided in chapter 400, as it reads after January 1, 1989, and may be continued as permitted by chapter 400, as it reads after January 1, 1989, except as stated in section 400.11-105.
