Enforcing delivery, court action.

447.575. If any person refuses to deliver property to the state as required under sections 447.500 to 447.595, the treasurer shall bring an action in a court of appropriate jurisdiction to enforce such delivery.

Effective 7-1-94

(2002) Section constitutes unconstitutional delegation of power to the State Treasurer to collect property in violation of Article IV, Section 15 of the Missouri Constitution. Farmer v. Kinder, 89 S.W.3d 447 (Mo.banc).
