Foreign executor or administrator.

376.570. Whenever any nonresident of this state dies leaving a policy of life insurance issued by any life insurance company of this state and payable to his estate, it shall be lawful for the executor or administrator, duly appointed under the laws of the state of the residence of such deceased nonresident, to collect and receive the proceeds payable under the terms of such policy and the delivery or payment of such proceeds by any life insurance company of this state to such nonresident executor or administrator, at any time, shall operate as a full and complete release and discharge of any person or corporation so paying or delivering such proceeds to such foreign executor or administrator.
