Failure to qualify for examination, notice, contents, appeal.

340.236. 1. If the board determines that an applicant is not qualified to sit for the examination or for licensure under section 340.238, the executive director shall notify the applicant in writing. The notification shall include specific findings of the board as to the applicant's failure to qualify, inform the applicant that he or she may request a hearing before the board on the question of the applicant's qualifications, and inform the applicant of his or her right, pursuant to section 621.120, to file a complaint with the administrative hearing commission.

2. No person shall be refused a license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Missouri because of race, creed, sex, color or national origin.
