473.087. No will is effectual for the purpose of proving title to, or the right to the possession of, any real or personal property, disposed of by the will, until it has been admitted to probate.

(1967) Joint will of deceased wife and surviving husband not offered for probate after death of wife, had no standing as a will and was ineffectual for the purpose of proving title to or right to possession of real estate. Gurniak v. Liszewski (Mo.), 411 S.W.2d 84.
