2005 Missouri Revised Statutes - § 577.110. — Person operating vehicle while under sixteen years of age--penalty.

577.110. No person under the age of sixteen years shall operate a motor vehicle on the highways of this state. Any person who violates this section, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less than five dollars nor more than five hundred dollars.

(1967) Person who did not qualify for driver's license because he was underage was not barred by licensing statute from maintaining action for injuries sustained by him in an accident involving his operation of a motor vehicle. Siess v. Layton (Mo.), 417 S.W.2d 6.
