2005 Missouri Revised Statutes - § 217.825. — Citation of law.
217.825. Sections 217.825 to 217.841 shall be known and may be cited as the "Missouri Incarceration Reimbursement Act".
(L. 1988 H.B. 1340 & 1348 § 1)(1991) Missouri incarceration reimbursement act violates the supremacy clause and is invalidated to the extent that it conflicts with Congress's intent to award damages under 42 U.S.C.A. § 1983. State enjoined from attaching prisoner's funds received as money judgment from state in civil action by prisoner against state. Hankins v. Finnel, 759 F.Supp. 569 (W.D. Mo.).
