2005 Missouri Revised Statutes - § 67.1207. — County commission in certain counties submit to voters proposition to adopt township military airport zoning--plan for all areas in airport hazard area.

67.1207. The county commission in a county which has not voted to adopt countywide planning or zoning pursuant to the provisions of sections 64.510 to 64.695, RSMo, or sections 64.800 to 64.905, RSMo, shall, upon a petition signed by a number of qualified voters in the township equal to five percent of the total vote for governor in such township at the most recent general election in which a governor was elected, submit to a vote of the voters of the township a proposition adopting township military airport zoning under the provisions of sections 67.1200 to 67.1222. Upon a favorable majority vote, the county commission shall provide for the preparation, adoption, amendment, extension and carrying out of a comprehensive plan for all areas within the airport hazard area, and the controlled compatible land use area.
