Section 11-37-111 - Form of the writ

The writ of replevin shall be in the following form, to-wit:

"State of Mississippi

County of ____________________

To the sheriff of any lawful officer of ____________________ County:

We command you to immediately seize and take into your possession (here describe the property as shown in the declaration) alleged by ____________________, the plaintiff, to be wrongfully detained by ____________________, the defendant, and to deliver said property to the plaintiff unless bonded by the defendant; and to summon the said defendant to appear before the ____________________ court of ____________________ County, Mississippi, at ____________________ o'clock ____________________.M., on the ____________________ day of ____________________, 2 ____________________, to answer the suit of the plaintiff for the wrongful detention of said property, and have then and there this writ.

WITNESS MY HAND, this ____________________ day of ____________________, 2 ____________________.
