Section 25-31-37 - District Attorney of the Seventh Circuit Court District authorized to appoint two additional full-time assistant district attorneys

  • (1) The District Attorney of the Seventh Circuit Court District may appoint two (2) full-time assistant district attorneys in addition to those authorized as of July 1, 2023, in Section 25-31-5. The full-time assistant district attorneys shall receive compensation in an amount equal to the compensation paid to full-time assistant district attorneys in the Seventh Circuit Court District subject to available funds specifically appropriated therefor by the Legislature.
  • (2) The District Attorney of the Seventh Circuit Court District may appoint one (1) full-time criminal investigator in addition to the criminal investigators authorized as of July 1, 2023 in Section 25-31-10.
