§ 27-115-29.

  • The corporation shall establish and maintain a personnel program, including administrative rules and regulations for its employees. The corporation may procure benefit programs or group insurance plans and shall provide or arrange for a retirement plan. Unless otherwise specified by the president, employees of the corporation shall serve at the will and pleasure of the president who shall determine their compensation and benefits. The employees shall be subject to suspension, dismissal, reduction in pay, demotion, transfer, or other personnel action at the discretion of the president and shall not be subject to civil service provisions. The compensation of officers at the division head level and above shall be determined by the board. Corporation employees shall not be considered employees of the State of Mississippi.

  • No board member, officer or employee of the corporation or any spouse, sibling, ascendant or descendant of a board member, officer or employee shall have a financial interest in any vendor doing business or proposing to do business with the corporation.

  • No board member, officer or employee of the corporation with decision-making authority shall participate in any decision involving a lottery retailer with whom the board member, officer or employee or any spouse, sibling, ascendant or descendant of such board member, officer or employee has a financial interest.

  • No officer or employee of the corporation who leaves the employ of the corporation nor any board member may represent any vendor or lottery retailer before the corporation for a period of one (1) year following termination of employment with the corporation or membership on the board.
