§ 11-23-27. Form of a claimant's affidavit

A claimant's affidavit may be in the following form, viz.:
State of Mississippi, ____ County:
"Before me, ____ , a justice of the peace of said county, ____ makes oath
that a certain ____ [here describe the property], levied on by virtue of an
execution in favor of ____ against ____ , issued by ____ , a justice of the
peace of said county, on the ____ day of ____ , A. D. ____ , and now in the
hands of ____ , a ____ of ____ county, under said execution, is the property
of affiant, and is not the property of ____ .
"Sworn to and subscribed before me, ____ , A. D. ____ ____ , J. P."
