Chapter 365 — Town General Law
Section 365.431 — Amount Voted At Meeting Is Tax Limit.

365.431 AMOUNT VOTED AT MEETING IS TAX LIMIT.

Except as otherwise authorized by law, the tax for town purposes must not be more than the amount voted to be raised at the annual town meeting.
