383B.30 DIRECTOR; SELECTION. The county administrator, with the approval of the county board, shall appoint a human resources director. The director shall be in the classified service and shall not be removed by the board except under written charges in accordance with sections 383B.26 to 383B.42 and after a public hearing by the board.
