282.223 TAXES CANCELED. When any lands shall be sold under sections 282.221 to 282.226 all public liens thereon for taxes, special assessments, and other charges, whether extended on the tax lists or not, shall forthwith be canceled, and the county auditor, county treasurer, and county recorders shall note such cancellation upon the records of their respective offices.
