609B.535 DANGEROUS ANIMALS VIOLATION; ANIMALS SEIZED AND DESTROYED. Under section 609.227, if a person is convicted of a dangerous animal violation under section 609.205, clause (4); or 609.226, subdivision 1, 2, or 3, the animal shall be seized and killed, and the convicted owner shall pay the cost of confining and killing the animal.
