Section 386.08 — PREPARATION.

386.08 PREPARATION. The county recorder of any such county may assign the duty of compiling such index to one or more deputies, who shall be paid for extra time so employed additional salary and compensation at the same rate and in the same manner as is paid them for regular service. The total sum for such extra service shall not exceed $1,600.
