Chapter 163 — COUNTY HIGHWAYS
Section 163.08 — CONSULTING ENGINEER.
Upon request of the county highway engineer the county board of any county is authorized to employ and engage the services of registered professional engineers to act as consultants in connection with, and to prepare plans and specifications themselves or by their organization and employees for the construction of roads and bridges on county and county state-aid highways, and the county board is authorized to negotiate for and agree upon the terms and compensation for such employment and service.History:
