Section 43A.121 RANKING OF THE APPLICANT POOL.
43A.121 RANKING OF THE APPLICANT POOL.
Applicants referred from a layoff list shall be ranked as provided in the collective bargaining
agreement or plan established under section
43A.18, under which the layoff list was established.
All other names in an applicant pool shall be ranked according to the veteran's preference
provisions of section
43A.11, subdivision 7, and then in descending order of the number of
skill matches for the vacant position. If any ties in rank remain, those names shall appear in
alphabetical order.
