     97C.087 Special fish management tags. 


    Subdivision 1.    Tags to be issued.  If the 
 commissioner determines it is necessary to require that a 
 species of fish be tagged with a special fish management tag, 
 the commissioner shall prescribe, by rule, the species to be 
 tagged, tagging procedures, and eligibility requirements. 


    Subd. 2.    Application for tag.  Application for 
 special fish management tags must be accompanied by a $5, 
 nonrefundable application fee for each tag.  A person may not 
 make more than one tag application each year.  If a person makes 
 more than one application, the person is ineligible for a 
 special fish management tag for that season after determination 
 by the commissioner, without a hearing.
