488A.025 Court administrator; abolition of position of clerk.
Subdivision 1. Creation. There is created the position of court administrator for the municipal court of Hennepin County.
Subd. 2. Appointment. A majority of the judges of the municipal court of Hennepin County shall appoint the court administrator who shall serve at the pleasure of a majority of municipal court judges.
Subd. 3. Assistant. Subject to the approval of a majority of the judges, the court administrator may appoint an assistant court administrator who shall serve at the pleasure of the court administrator.
Subd. 4. Duties. + c Wherever in Minnesota Statutes 1969, sections 488A.01 to 488A.17, powers, duties or responsibilities are placed upon the clerk of municipal court, such powers, duties and other responsibilities shall be and hereby are placed upon the court administrator. The court administrator shall perform such duties and have such responsibilities that were previously or shall be designated as the duty or responsibility of the clerk of municipal court.
Subd. 5. Clerk position abolished. The position of clerk of municipal court of Hennepin County is hereby abolished.
