252.025 State hospitals for persons with mental retardation.

Subd. 7. Minnesota extended treatment options. The commissioner shall develop by July 1, 1997, the Minnesota extended treatment options to serve Minnesotans who have mental retardation and exhibit severe behaviors which present a risk to public safety. This program must provide specialized residential services in Cambridge and an array of community support services statewide.
