124D.87 Interdistrict desegregation or integration transportation aid.

(a) A district that provides transportation of pupils to and from an interdistrict program for desegregation or integration purposes is eligible for state aid to cover the additional costs of transportation.

(b) A district in the metropolitan area may apply to the commissioner for state aid to cover the costs of transporting pupils who are enrolled under section 124D.03 if the enrollment of the student in the nonresident district contributes to desegregation or integration purposes.
